A Note on Scientific Transparency

The relationship between CFH genotype and zinc supplement response remains an active area of research. While Awh et al. (2013, 2015) found significant genotype-treatment interactions, Chew et al. (2015) did not replicate these findings in the AREDS2 cohort.

MaculaGen presents both sides of this evidence in our reports. Our recommendations incorporate the precautionary principle while remaining transparent about ongoing scientific debate.

Evidence-Based. Transparent. Actionable.
